Handy retail update

In a handy update for customers running retail sales, the CleanCloud POS no longer requires a customer profile to be attached to an order if the product being purchased is from a section marked as a 'Retail' section.

Introducing Tasks

Tasks is a brand new feature that helps you and your staff keep track of their workloads. With tasks you can:

  • Create single or repeating tasks for staff members to complete
  • Monitor the completion rate of these tasks over the previous 48 hours
  • Assign tasks to either a User or a Station, so that tasks are always assigned to the most relevant staff member

Heat Seal upgrade for multi-store businesses

Great new upgrade to make using Heat Seal barcodes just that little bit easier. For customers with multiple stores, you are now able to share your Heat Seal barcode database across the different locations that you already have linked product and customer databases for.

Upgrades to Notifications

2 upgrades have just released for our notifications feature:

  • Once an order has been created, any outgoing automatic Push or SMS notifications will now adjust based on whether there are weight-based or regular products in the order.
  • You now have the option of being notified when an order has been edited, just navigate to Settings > Admin > Notifications to toggle on or off these 2 new notifications.

Improved Ready By dates

2 new updates for default ready by dates for in store orders

  • Ready By date can now be set to a different default after a certain time of day. For example you can decide to have your default turnaround be an extra day after 10am. To decide this time, simply navigate to Settings > Admin > New Order Page > Default Order Ready By if Time is After


  • Adding extra days to a particular product will now skip excluded days. For example, if your default ready by date is 2 days excluding Sunday and a product within an order is marked as taking 1 extra day, the total 3 day turnaround will exclude Sunday.

Integrating NextDoor with Marketing Pro

Calling all Marketing Pro customers!

Our reviews system now integrates with NextDoor. Now when your customers are automatically prompted to leave a review, you can have them directed to your Nextdoor page, as well as Yelp, Google Maps and Facebook.

Plant mode 2.0

Users of our plant mode will be excited to hear that we have recently made our 2.0 version available for use. To transition to this new mode, simply navigate to Settings > Admin > Plant mode and change the Plant Version to V2.

This new version comes with a whole host of improvements, especially for those who process a very high amount of orders and are heavily reliant on barcode scanning.

Customer App update

Within the customer app, extra delivery fees can now be applied for delivery slots if the requested slot would mean the order turn around time falls under a certain amount of days. This effectively gives customers the option of selecting an 'Express' service at a higher cost.
